JEFF GEORGE #11 VERY RARE! AUTHENTIC STARTER JERSEYBack in the early 80's, Jeff George was a stud in High School and College Football. So good that he was the first overall pick in the 1990 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts. After becoming fed up with the organization, Jeff was traded to the Atlanta Falcons in 1993. The company Starter, was the undisputed #1 replica jersey maker at the time for the NFL. Weather it was through miscommunication and/or them rushing production, Starter thought Jeff was going to wear number 11 like he did with the Colts. So they immediately started making these Falcons jerseys. Then Jeff switch to #1 when he got to Atlanta. Guess it was a good move for him as he led the Falcons in 1995 to their first playoff appearance since 91. Starter had to pull these Jersey to not make themselves look foolish. A VERY RARE jersey.
